We headed to Orange Beach, AL with my brother Gordon and his family July 4th weekend! It was a blast but we only got to go to the beach 1 day for a few hours. And we didn't get to get in the water because of the double red flags and oil! The beach was pretty depressing, no one was on it for miles. This made me sad because I have been going to the beach with my family since I was about 7 years old. But the trip was still great. Our condo had some amazing pools and slides! I am so happy we get along so well with my brothers family to be able to vacation with them and not kill each other.

LIFE

Well I am seeing I'm not the greatest at blogging but I hope to improve. We are leaving for the beach Saturday so I will post pics from that. Hopefully it won't rain and the tar balls will be cleaned up for the weekend.

I just had to post a little something about my life and 1 of the reasons I haven't been blogging. I have NO time for anything but school, work, church, and trying to keep the house decent, laundry done, and the boys fed and bathed. I feel like once the summer is over, it will get alot better. I didn't think school 4 days a week would be that bad but it seems to be overwhelming me a little, tiny bit. I am so excited for this beach vacation with my brother and his family. I know I will have to study and do homework while I am there but it still should be a wonderful break!

A few of our summer activities

Here are some pictures of some fun things we have done this summer. First we went bowling with my sister n law and Joseph's Maw Maw (who is an awesome bowler). They loved it. Ethan's school gives free bowling passes for the summer. Only 1 game a day but a fun thing to do for free during the summer.
Then we all went and saw Shrek: Ever After. Ethan wouldn't get in the pic. Their favorite line was when Puss in Boots calls Donkey "ridonkulous" which is one of mine and Jojo's favorite words.
The other pic if of Ethan and Chan at the Klung's house. We stayed the weekend with them while Shanna and Mike were out of town and we had a blast!

My 1st Blog

This will be my 1st blog post. I am nervous about this as it is new to me! I am doing this as a way to keep up with family and friends that live out of state or who I don't see often. I also wanted to start a blog as sort of an online journal. I used to really good at keeping journals but ever since I've been married, I haven't done as well. Every blog I read is so cute and creative, I'm not so creative but I'm going to dive in anyway.
Life is crazy right now. I decided to attend summer school so I can apply for the PTA program that starts next summer. So now I work 3 days a week and go to school 4 days a week. I miss the boys and Joseph so much but it's only 7 more weeks so I know we will all get through it. I am so grateful for my mom and dad who keep the boys while I work and go to school and Joseph's parents who help out when mine can't! Joseph is being very supportive with getting the kids when he gets home from work, he may not exactly keep the house clean while I'm gone but oh well! I was just called as 2nd counselor in the Relief Society presidency(aghhh) and Joseph continues to teach the 11 year olds who he absolutely loves and they think Brother Bell is pretty cool too! He is also the boy scout leader for the 11 year olds.
Ethan and Chandler are enjoying their summer swimming almost everyday, thanks to Aunt Glenda's pool and Nanny's neighborhood pool. They are not looking forward to school in the fall.
